After an amazing 10 years of garden Elf visits, I felt like I needed to add a touch more magic into the experience. The question always popped up, why the garden? And so "Wishing on a washing line" was born. It's a story about an old postie elf who loses his way picking up Christmas letters and so the elves have to come up with a plan. 
 
The idea is for children to read the story before bed the night before, or the morning of their visit to add to the excitement of the Christmas festivities. Reading the book and then seeing the magic come alive in their very own garden is very exciting for us, and the families who book us year upon year. We love that we are now a tradition in many homes and have been for quite a few years.
